D. Homeroom: the official blog for the U.S. Dept. of Education. The purpose of the blog is to provide insights on the activities of schools, programs, grantees, and other education stakeholders to promote continuing discussion of educational innovation and reform. I chose this blog because of its official nature and found it to be a helpful resource.

Edutopia: part of the George Lucas Educational Foundation. Its purpose is to transform K-12 education so that all students can acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to thrive in their studies, careers, and adult lives.


E. Blogging can be used in teaching by creating a class blog with your students. Teachers can create blogs for parents that include class updates, projects, educational articles, and other helpful resources. Teachers can connect with each other over blogs, too.
